I am planning on purchasing a new cell phone and I was wondering about screen protectors. I see them for .99 to 29.99, there has to be some difference. Can anyone explain this to me or is this just trying to rip people off by not knowing anything and wanting to pay for the best when there is actually no difference. The new phone will probably come with a thin sheet of plastic over the screen anyways, but I would like to keep this screen on the phone from scratches etc…

For what it’s worth you might as well get the cheaper ones. From what I’ve seen there just a slightly less decent quality plastic. A couple of the cheaper ones will do just as good a job as the more expensive ones.

Where can I find a good cheap screen protector sticker for my cell phone/PDA device?

I have heard PSP screen protectors work well. You only have to cut them to size.

Also I just read about someone using 3M films, but those look messy and require chemicals.

I guess I am wondering if there is a chain or somehwere in the Midwest where I can find this stuff cheap.

If you cut one to size, it won’t look good….

Do a search on ebay for YOUR SPECIFIC MODEL, and I’m sure you can find one. I found screen protectors for as little as $ 2 for ours. (granted, it may come from hong kong though.) They are identical to the ones they make for PSP, DS, etc.

Why my cell phone’s display got grainy when I put screen protector on it. Is that suppose to happpen with screen protector? I have Droid X smart phone and before the screen was very clear, but now it looks grainy and not as clear anymore. I actually used Motorollas manufacturer’s screen protectors so they should be good quality. So is the display suppose become grainy specially on light colors or something is wrong with these screen protectors?

Sometimes if it was greasy before u put it on, like the original screen, if ur fingers were greasy when u put it on, or if the screen protector is now greasy! I know its like all the same, but it happend to my itouch! It was grainy at first but eventually it got better! not like it was before thoughh!
